FHA Loan Limits for New York City and  surrounding counties in New Jersey, Westchester, Putnam, Rockland and Fairfield County (Single Family in Fairfield) Connecticut are the same. As you go further from New York City, the limits tend to decrease greatly. To find out what the limits are in your county, look at the tables below.

NOTE:  FHA also lends on condos (Not Co-ops). If the prices of homes in the area greatly exceed the following loan limits you can still buy a piece of real estate while repairing your credit or saving a larger down payment in order to apply for a conventional loan..

Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx, Staten Island, Manhattan, Nassau, Suffolk, Westchester, Putnam, Rockland Counties are all the following:

1 Family $ 312,895

2 Family $ 400,548

3 Family $ 484,155

4 Family $ 601,692

Bergen, Union, Essex, Hudson, Ocean, Passaic, Somerset, Monmouth, Middlesex, Morris, and Sussex County, New Jersey all have the same limits as well:

1 Family $ 312,895
